This article will go through the steps on how to install HowNow to a New Machine.
In order for this to work, the machine will need to have access to the Server Location where HowNow is hosted from, this may be a network location that you will need to speak to your IT about.
- First, locate the HowNow Root Folder on the main server where it is hosted for the firm
- Copy the entire contents (Minus any folders such as Data, HomeData, Logging etc.)
- Paste these contents onto the New Machine under a HowNow Folder
- On the new Machine, run the FB3Setup file that will be apart of what was just copied and pasted.
- Leave everything as Default but make sure everything in the below image matches your own Setup.
- Once FB3 has been installed and running you can open HowNow as per usual
